NMDC Ltd eases for fifth straight session

NMDC Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 66.19, down 0.24% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.22% on the day, quoting at 22650.05. The Sensex is at 73319.65, up 0.27%.NMDC Ltd has eased around 14.52% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Metal index of which NMDC Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 9.86% in last one month and is currently quoting at 11478.2, up 0.95% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 77.33 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 162.76 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 66.16, down 0.23% on the day. NMDC Ltd tumbled 11% in last one year as compared to a 12.77% slide in NIFTY and a 10.7% spurt in the Nifty Metal index.

The PE of the stock is 7.81 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
