Radaan Mediaworks receives Rs 1.68 crore demand notice under the Income Tax Act, 1961

Radaan Mediaworks India Limited has received a demand notice under Section 156 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, totaling Rs 1,67,81,895, inclusive of interest, for the financial year 2023-24 from the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, TDS Circle -2, Chennai. The company clarified that Rs 6,43,825 of the total demand is under dispute, while the remaining amount has been accounted for in its books and disclosed in previous Limited Review Reports. Radaan Mediaworks is currently reviewing the order and will take necessary steps.
