Nifty Financial Services index ended down 2.39% at 24954.15 today. The index is down 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Max Financial Services Ltd slipped 9.78%, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd fell 6.16% and Bajaj Finance Ltd dropped 5.87%. The Nifty Financial Services index is down 5.00% over last one year compared to the 7.96% decline in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Private Bank index is down 2.19% and Nifty Bank index has slid 1.96% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 1.64% to close at 23063.1 while the SENSEX is down 1.67% to close at 73580.54 today.
