Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has underscored India's robust economic expansion, revealing that the nation's economy registered a 7.8 per cent growth at constant prices during the initial quarter, spanning April to June, a performance identified as the apex growth rate globally. He articulated that India is acknowledging its inherent potential and engaging with the international community from a posture of strength and assurance. Goyal stressed that India perceives substantial prospects within a fiercely competitive global landscape, underpinned by principled commercial dealings and elevated ethical benchmarks in trade. Goyal indicated that India has established an ambitious trajectory, aiming to elevate its economic scale from a current valuation of $4 trillion to a projected $30 trillion by 2047, coinciding with the nation's centennial commemoration of Independence, marking 100 years.
