Cipla Ltd eases for fifth straight session

Cipla Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1336, down 0.6% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.25% on the day, quoting at 22478.35. The Sensex is at 72078.38, up 0.23%.Cipla Ltd has eased around 4.23% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Pharma index of which Cipla Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 2.14% in last one month and is currently quoting at 26311.55, down 0.79% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 6.16 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 10.08 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1335.2, down 1.24% on the day. Cipla Ltd tumbled 11.7% in last one year as compared to a 10.37% slide in NIFTY and a 19.85% spurt in the Nifty Pharma index.

The PE of the stock is 33.18 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
