Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.75%, NIFTY jumps 1.05%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.75% at 819.8 today. The index has slipped 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, DLF Ltd added 4.21%, Lodha Developers Ltd jumped 3.84% and Phoenix Mills Ltd gained 3.72%. The Nifty Realty index has fallen 14.00% over last one year compared to the 11.96% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty FMCG index gained 2.34% and Nifty PSU Bank index added 2.20% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 1.05% to close at 22936.75 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 1.24% to close at 74151.04 today.
