Dodla Dairy advances after subsidiary's new facility commences cattle feed production

The overall capacity of Orgafeed Private Limited is 14,400 tons per month (Kadapa Plant Capacity is 2,400 tons per month and Kuppam Plant Capacity is 12,000 tons per month),? the company said in a statement.

Orgafeed is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dodla Dairy and operates the company's feed business. It is involved in a wide range of agricultural activities including farming, breeding, horticulture, and allied activities such as poultry, dairy, and livestock farming. In addition to these operations, Orgafeed is also engaged in seed crushing, manufacturing, and dealing of groundnuts, gingerly, cotton, and the production of cattle feed.

Dodla Dairy is one of India's leading integrated dairy companies. The company procures, processes, and sells milk and milk products. The company's product portfolio consists of milk, butter milk, ghee, curd, paneer, flavoured milk, doodh peda, ice cream and milk based sweets. The company's procurement is centred in 5 states and products are available for purchase in 9 states and has 118 milk chilling centres/plants. The company also has international operations in Uganda and Kenya.

The company's consolidated net profit rose 40.33% to Rs 34.97 crore on a 14.85% rise in sales to Rs 823.43 crore in Q1 FY24 over Q1 FY23.
